Could you be the full-time Product Introduction (PI) Engineer in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and problem-solving expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of our rolling stock during the Product Introduction (PI) period. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality, RAMS, and EHS teams), diagnosing technical issues, implementing solutions, and driving continuous improvement, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of serial testing and validation of rolling stock, but also support field modifications and ensure compliance with EHS standards.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing technical activities on rolling stock during the PI period, including commissioning, validation, and warranty tasks

  • Leading serial testing of rolling stock and participating in validation and certification tests

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions or failures, recommending corrective actions

  • Providing technical guidance to technicians and supporting repairs

  • Driving containment actions to prevent reoccurrence of failures

  • Ensuring the completeness and quality of failure management data for RAMS exploitation

  • Supporting technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders

  • Managing as-maintained product configuration and documentation

  • Driving reliability growth through event investigations and reliability forecast implementation

  • Applying EHS standards on site with the support of EHS representatives

  • Facilitating information flow within the PI team and providing transparency on key activities

  • Supporting obsolescence management and preparation/implementation of field modifications

  • Driving technical return of experience and feedback reporting

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Industrial fields

  • Experience or understanding of electrical/electronic engineering

  • Knowledge of EHS standards and practices

  • Familiarity with field experience in technical environments

  • Internal EHS training certification

  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

  • Good level of spoken and written English

  • Desirable: Rolling stock knowledge, testing experience, customer contact, and data analytics
