Key accountabilities:
During specification and preliminary design phases:
- Set-up Industrial organization of the program: staffing, work packages, tools.
- Define or adapt the Industrial scope of the Program, including PIO (Project Industrial Organization), DAMOB (Make or Buy
strategy), cost targets, schedule, technology transfers.
- Build the Program Industrial Management Plan (IMP)
- Coordinate co-engineering activities along with the PrEM (incl. manufacturing requirements, design for manufacturing,
ICONE, product/process solutions arbitrations).
- Monitor Preliminary Industrialization & Logistics processes definition (incl. industrial data sheets, logistics flows, long lead
time items & facilities).
- Coordinate creation of the Industrial RefLib (incl. SMP/SML, fixed & variable cost estimates)
- Manage transfers & handover to the first Project & associated manufacturing site(s) and to the Industrial Solution Manager
(when applicable at PGR).
During detailed design phase and up to VGR (when applicable):
- Monitor detailed industrialization (using IMFU - Industrial Maturity Follow-Up) & logistics, and ensure completion of the
following deliverables (for prototyping or transfer to projects):
- Industrial documentation (Work Instructions)
- Manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Workshop and work stations layouts
- ERP master data, including pBOMs, routings & method times.
- Line balancing and task sequencing
- P-FMEA and contribution to Control Plan (with Industrial Quality)
- Procurement & Logistics flows, kitting strategy implementation
- Supply Chain master data (ERP), facilities & equipment
- Parts/kits/components ordering and procurement in line with the project planning and start of production.
- Monitor Prototype & Mock-up (manufacturing, testing for manufacturability, feed-back to engineering).
- Participate to CCB (Change and Configuration Board) to validate engineering changes and manage prototype(s) retrofit
when applicable
- Complete creation of the Industrial RefLib.
- Complete transfers & handover to the first Project & associated manufacturing site(s) and to the Industrial Solution Manager (when applicable after PGR).
Other activities:
- Contributes to industrial costing for tenders.
- Participates to the 1st Project as PrIM up to PGR (when applicable).
- Perform industrial REX on industrial activities.
- Contribute to update the Industrial Ref Lib.
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
Performance measurements:
Program QCD on industrial scope:
§ Industrial RefLib creation (incl. SMP/SML, industrial costing …).
§ Fixed and variable industrial cost in line with target.
§ Industrialization, Prototype & Mock-up planning in line with program planning.
§ Completion of transfers to Project, Manufacturing site & Industrial Solution Manager
