Could you be the full-time onsite Power Supply Project Engineering Manager in Cairo, Egypt we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll lead the overall technical management of power supply projects, making a significant impact on the success of APM, Metro, Tramway, Monorail, or Mainline railway projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System Engineering, Project Management, and other engineering disciplines), assist the System Engineering Manager in their role, support the Project Manager, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of the technical management and engineering deliverables of railway traction power supply systems, but also manage interfaces and integration with other systems and stakeholders.
We’ll look to you for:

Leading the technical management and engineering deliverables of railway traction power supply systems, including medium voltage distribution, traction power production and distribution systems, low voltage systems, substation automation, and installation design.

Managing the supplier selection process and detailed design with power supply equipment manufacturers.

Ensuring project deliverables meet technical requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.

Collaborating with the System Engineering Manager to align power supply engineering activities with overall project objectives.

Managing interfaces and integration with other railway systems for transversal studies, civil/MEP partner scopes, and external stakeholders.

Providing direct interface with clients, engineers, and operators.

Identifying and mitigating technical risks.

Driving the implementation of innovative and sustainable power supply solutions.

Preparing and presenting technical documentation and reports to stakeholders.

Supporting cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless project execution.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ Years of Experience.

Experience in power supply systems for railway projects (APM, Metro, Tramway, or Mainline railway).

Proven ability to lead a power supply engineering design team across disciplines such as medium voltage, traction, automation, and installation design.

Knowledge of project technical management processes and methodologies.

Familiarity with system engineering practices and project management support.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.

Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address technical challenges.

Leadership and decision-making skills to manage technical aspects of projects.

Adaptability to work in dynamic and complex project environments.
