Could you be the full-time onsite Power Supply Design Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?

 

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, driven, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute to the advancement of our engineering projects by ensuring the high-quality implementation of MV LV, Traction, and Installation engineering standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Systems, RAMS, EMC, and Procurements), supervise and provide guidance to the Power Supply Automation engineering team, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Defining MVLV operational modes and functionalities, writing subsystem specifications and architecture.

  • Identifying and managing interfaces between the POS MV-LV subsystem and other subsystems.

  • Ensuring the implementation of projects according to the design for quality standards and proposing product solutions in terms of performance and reliability.

  • Writing and modifying calculation notes for various electrical components and systems.

  • Supervising and guiding the Power Supply Automation engineering team.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering and minimum 3 years in Metro tram system electrical engineering.

  • Expertise related to the MV network sizing in using specific tool (ETAP, SKM for example) will be added advantage.

  • Good knowledge of electrical installation (high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage).

  • Knowledge in BIM will be an added advantage.
