Could you be the full-time onsite Platform Screen Doors T&C lead Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive testing and commissioning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, skilled, and collaborative teammates. You'll ensure the Platform Screen Doors (PSD) systems are tested and commissioned to the highest standards, contributing to the safety and efficiency of railway operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including SCADA, Design, and Installation), prepare and execute testing activities according to the testing procedure, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Rigorous planning and execution of T&C tests according to the established procedures and documentation.

  • Making return experience (REX) reports towards the project in the event of non-conformities observed during commissioning.

  • Prompt identification of defects and troubleshooting to ensure system integrity and reliability.

  • Accurate reporting of design-related issues in the appropriate tools with detailed defect descriptions and test context.

  • Delivering committed performance in terms of Quality, Costs, and Deadlines while adhering to Alstom policies, local standards, and regulations.

  • Upholding the highest standards of EHS and Railway Safety, aiming for zero deviations.


All about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Communication) or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of T&C of PSD SYSTEMS.

  • Familiarity with interface with SCADA, MSN, Design, Installation stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU).

  • Able to communicate in an open and clear manner with various stakeholders.
