Could you be the full-time onsite OPC Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance measurement of our projects, including Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD), on-time sequencing of stakeholders, and customer satisfaction. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Railway Safety Assurance (RSA)), enforce the recording and approval of installation drawing changes, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

• Ensuring that all required OPC (Operational Performance Commitment) related installation drawings and instruction changes are adequately recorded, reported and approved.

• Enforcing the identification of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)/Civil works as installed configuration, non-conformities, defects, and workmanship issues.

• Ensuring at all times a smooth coordination between the Civil/MEP installation contractors.

• Supervising installation and installation inspection (PICO).

• Reporting NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) whenever necessary.

All about you

• Degree in electrical or mechanical domain or equivalent, Engineering degree strongly recommended.

• Knowledge of rail installation, MEP awareness would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with LV/MV Electrical installations.

• Experience or understanding of installation of electrical/mechanical works.

• Able to solve conflicts between different installers and suggest solutions.
