Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of lifting equipment and tools, directly contributing to the success of our operations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as EHS, subcontractors, and installation teams), conduct inspections, create and review lifting plans, and support critical lifting operations.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Inspection of lifting equipment, installation carts, and generators
  • Periodic inspection (color coding) of long-term lifting equipment and installation carts
  • Re-inspections in case of reported failures
  • Informing subsystems or subcontractors of inspection results
  • Creating and reviewing lifting plans for in-house operations
  • Reviewing subcontractors’ lifting plan calculations
  • Supervising lifting operations for Alstom and subcontractors
  • Supporting logistics work, including switch caretaking activities
  • Designing, manufacturing, and installing site requirements (e.g., gauges, barricades, lifeline solutions)
  • Maintaining Alstom mobilization equipment

  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our flexible and inclusive working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
