Could you be the full-time Full-Stack Software Designer in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll play a key role in shaping the future of mobility by developing and maintaining critical components of the EBI Screen 2000 platform. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (program managers, QA, DevOps, and architects), optimize performance, and contribute to technical decisions and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of designing and developing microservices-based components, but also building intuitive user interfaces and ensuring high product quality through automated testing.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based components of the EBI Screen 2000 platform.

  • Implementing backend services and APIs with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.

  • Building responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.

  • Developing and maintaining automated test suites using Robot Framework for high-quality regression coverage.

  • Containerizing applications with Docker and orchestrating deployments on RKE2 Kubernetes.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices.

  • Participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident resolution.

  • Contributing to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and CI/CD pipeline improvements.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Python and at least two of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, or Go.

  • Optional hands-on experience with Angular (or similar modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks).

  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining applications in a microservices architecture.

  • Practical knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (RKE2 or similar).

  • Experience with Robot Framework for test automation.

  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, gRPC, message queues (e.g., Kafka, Artemis), and relational/no-SQL databases.

  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and cloud platforms (Azure).
