Could you be the full-time Fleet Coordinator in Cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your fleet management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, collaborative, and detail-oriented teammates.

 

You'll ensure the efficient utilization and maintenance of our fleet resources, contributing to the seamless operation of Alstom’s transport network. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (drivers, supervisors, customers), develop strategies for fleet optimization, and ensure compliance with policies and standards, and much more.

 

You’ll specifically take care of managing fleet utilization and forecasting needs, but also planning maintenance schedules and implementing new fleet strategies.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Creating business plans for fleet-related projects
  • Setting and managing maintenance plans for fleet and facilities
  • Handling vehicle license renewals
  • Promoting safety through driver awareness campaigns, training, and coaching
  • Developing and applying fleet management and journey management plans
  • Investigating accidents and near-misses to identify root causes
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and overseeing driver task assignments
  • Providing support for fleet management systems, including diagnostics and upgrades
  • Installing and maintaining GPS tracking system devices

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience or understanding of fleet management and logistics
  • Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards
  • Familiarity with journey management systems and GPS tracking systems
  • A certification in fleet management or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Project)
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage on-site and remote teams
  • Experience in people, performance, and KPI management
