Could you be the full-time onsite EHS Supervisor in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, knowledgeable, and collaborative teammates. You'll contribute significantly to the safety and environmental stewardship of our projects by supporting the Project EHS Manager on all EHS matters. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project management, engineering, and on-site contractors), assist in the development and maintenance of the Project EHS Management System, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:

Support in the development, deployment, and maintenance of local EHS procedures and tools in alignment with Alstom Standards and international standards (ISO14001 and ISO 45001).

Support to the EHS Project Manager in capturing, reporting, recording, investigating, and analyzing accidents/incidents/observations to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Cooperation with internal resources to achieve EHS objectives and support the Project EHS Manager in preparing, implementing, and maintaining emergency plans,

Assistance to the Project EHS Manager in coordinating and controlling EHS activities, especially at interfaces with other contractors or operation areas.

Assistance to the Project personnel in performing EHS Risk Assessment and defining appropriate measures to control risks.

Degree in Engineering or Science (scientific degree).

Knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.

A certification in OSHA construction and OSHA Industrial.

Experience or understanding of Environment, Health & Safety practices in a project environment.

Professional experience 3 to 5 years.
