Could you be the full-time Civil Works Interface Lead Engineer cairo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your *civil engineering* expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside *collaborative and innovative* teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination between Civil Works (CW) and Electromechanical (E&M) designs, driving integration and managing interfaces to deliver excellence. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (*Civil Work contractors, Electromechanical field teams, and external stakeholders*), *review site clash reports*, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of *defining interface control documents (ICD) and integration processes*, but also *leading design reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction in all Civil Interface activities*.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Leading technical coordination between Civil Works and Electromechanical designs, including interfaces management and design integration.

  • Defining interface control documents (ICD) relevant to Civil Work interfaces.

  • Establishing Civil Work integration processes with contractors, including CAD manuals, CSD (Combined Service Drawings), and BIM rules.

  • Gathering and validating Electromechanical installation requirements with Civil Work entities to ensure system requirements are implemented in Civil Work designs.

  • Preparing and validating interface control documents and drawings with Civil Work entities and the client.

  • Reviewing Civil Work design drawings, CSDs, and ensuring system interface requirements are incorporated.

  • Coordinating modifications required by the Electromechanical field with Civil engineers.

  • Interfacing with other disciplines to ensure proper coordination of systems aspects.

  • Reviewing site clash reports, evaluating impacts, and proposing resolution strategies in collaboration with Civil Work entities.

  • Engaging with external stakeholders, such as Civil Defence Authorities, and supporting validation of Civil Designs by external authorities.

  • Leading the production of structural designs related to railway system aspects.

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • University degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Consistent knowledge of railway systems, standards, and equipment, especially those involved in installation and interfaces with Civil Works.

  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering/technical functions, including 5 years in leadership roles within international railway projects.

  • Proficiency in BIM concepts and advanced BIM software skills.

  • Proficiency in CAD software.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with partners and clients.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
