Could you be the full-time OCC Lead Engineer in Cairo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your operational expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of trains within your area of responsibility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as EONP and T&C managers), monitor and regulate traffic via CCTV, and manage the power supply system for the line and depot. You’ll also be responsible for recording events and ensuring processes are executed in both nominal and degraded modes.
You’ll specifically take care of monitoring and controlling train and MIV movements, but also coordinating actions with operational stakeholders to maintain quality and safety standards.
We’ll look to you for:

Monitoring and controlling train and MIV movements.

Ensuring the quality of operations, including punctuality, availability, and regularity.

Maintaining operational safety in both nominal and degraded situations.

Recording events in the logbook and/or specific programs provided.

Monitoring CCTV and regulating traffic in coordination with EONP and T&C managers.

Managing the power supply system for the line and depot, including high, medium, and low voltage distribution.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a railway project.

Awareness of railway operation risks related to electrical and train movement environments.

Fluency in English and Arabic.

Strong computer skills and the ability to work with specific programs.

Adaptability to work in a dynamic and safety-critical environment.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
