Your future role
Manage material availability for the Regional Electric and Deisel Portfolios. Liaise with multiple depots and suppliers to visualise, prioritise and expedite current material requirements to improve material availability. Lead the strategy for long term material availability solutions, utilising and co-ordinating multiple functions through to implementation.
We’ll look to you for:
- Day to day management of reports to identify critical material requirements.
- Expedite critical material requirements from Internal and External suppliers from daily reports generated.
- Produce and deliver business updates related to critical availability on a daily, weekly, monthly timeframes based on business requirements.
- Governance and coordination of all escalated requirements to conclusion.
- Analyse historical critical requirements to identify Continuous improvement to inventory, Safety Stocks, and planned activity needs.
- Identify root cause of critical material escalations to prevent the repeats.
- Plan with Project Supply Chain Manager (PrScM) and deliver the agreed strategy to implement long term solution for critical material.
- Co-ordinate weekly cross functional/portfolio reviews to drive improvements.
- Identify supplier development needs for the portfolio and discuss next steps with PrScM
- Continuous improvements to process and procedures.

- Demonstratable understanding of material demands in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Supply Chain/Supplier development to achieve operational improvements.
- Experience of or familiar with Project management techniques.
- Experience of supplier management.
