Purpose of the job
- Manage the team in charge of activities of Material Planning needs expression towards suppliers.
- Ensure application of Procure to Pay core model processes for material planning activities & master data management.
- Deploy action plan for performance improvement & risk management & cost efficiency.
Missions
- Apply core model process for material planning activities (external & internal suppliers) and master data
- Manage Supplier's performances KPI's & raw material coverage according to targets
- Collaborate with Procurement for risk/impact management process including supplier selection
- Ensure the action plans implementation between Teams and Suppliers
- Lead the supplier escalation process supporting Material Planners on animation of Supplier’s KPI performance
Tasks
- Manage end-to-end material planning processes with internal and external suppliers, ensuring compliance with core model procedures and accurate master data.
- Coordinate and monitor Material Planners, ensuring timely document creation, delivery confirmations, and resolution of MRP exceptions to prevent supply issues.
- Analyze risks and implement recovery actions, supporting planners in managing shortages, backlogs, and missing parts until stock availability.
- Track and validate supplier performance KPIs, develop action plans for underperforming suppliers, and maintain effective communication routines.
- Contribute to capacity management, risk assessments, and team development, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

Competencies & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years management experience at the materials planning and supplier delivery performance experience is required
- Inventory management & material planning techniques knowledge is required
- SAP knowledge is required
- Fluent in English and Turkish
