Job title: Installation Commissioning Engineer
Based at: Romania- Alba Iulia, Deva, Bucharest
Alstom in Romania has been present  for over 20 years employing today over 450 people. Alstom, registered major success in infrastructure, signaling and also services. The long term service agreement for the maintenance of the rolling stock of Metrorex is a major reference and shows the expertise of Alstom in this field. Alstom will continue to grow his business in Romania proposing further services for the local market and export and works on different rehabilitation projects on the European Corridor IV.

The Installation Commissioning Engineer position, reporting direct to Testing & Commisioning Manager will as a responsibility have:
- Prepare and execute installation, testing and commissioning activities for all siganlling equipment types.


Specific responsibilities of the role:


  • Take part effectively in performing installation, testing, verification, preparation for putting into operation and commissioning of electronic signalling systems
  • Record the result of testing and commissioning activities in measurement sheets and prepare suitable reports for activities performed
  • Take action to correct detected errors in functioning of the signalling equipments
  • Promptly inform the Testing & Commisioning Manager / Project Installation Manager about any case when installation and testing results are showing deviations from standards and approved design


Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree in electrical, electronic, rail automation.
  • Experience in electrodynamics and Electronic interlocking systems
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet
  • English language
