Could you be the full-time Test Train Manager in Bucharest, Romania we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in testing and railway systems in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, detail-oriented, and safety-focused team.
You'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective execution of rolling stock tests, contributing to the evolution of modern railway solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across engineering, maintenance, and validation, coordinate test planning and execution, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
You’ll specifically take care of train preparation and availability for tests, as well as overseeing safety and test execution, but also support reporting and configuration management.
We’ll look to you for:

Representing the PrTCM during validation and certification tests on-site, at private test centers, and on public infrastructure

Preparing test implementation, including staffing, tools, and equipment readiness

Ensuring the train and its environment are ready for testing
-
Coordinating and conducting tests while ensuring safety and compliance
-
Producing test documentation, including failure reports and test event chronologies
-
Managing the safety of all on-board personnel and ensuring EHS compliance
-
Monitoring and maintaining test train configuration and readiness

Minimum license degree in engineering or equivalent

4-5 years’ experience in testing activities of railway products

2-3 years’ experience in dynamic test activities

Knowledge of high-risk activities, including EHS requirements such as AZDP, TTO, and LOTO
-
Fluent in English
-
Technical troubleshooting and investigation skills (mechanical or electrical/electronic)

Field experience in testing environments
-
Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
-
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a team spirit approach
