Could you be the full-time Technical Customer Interface Engineer in Bucharest we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Bruno and work alongside dynamic, adaptable, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in the EMU 35 Project by performing as the Technical Customer Interface. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, bridging the gap between the customer in the front office and the remote development team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
You’ll specifically take care of organizing technical meetings and reviews with the remote development team, while also clarifying technical contract requirements to ensure engineering solutions meet customer and final user needs.
We’ll look to you for:

Organizing technical meetings and reviews with the remote development team, respecting project schedules.

Clarifying technical contract requirements (operational, performance, usability, reliability, safety) to ensure alignment with customer and final user concerns.

Reporting engineering feasibility within constraints (re-use, platform, planning, budget) and supporting QCD project decisions.

Monitoring train-level operational effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.

Supporting the Chief of Development in trade-offs and endorsing decisions toward the customer.

Tracking and managing contract deviations triggered by the customer, ensuring proper approvals for technical amendments.

Anticipating and addressing risks that could impact customer interests.

Synchronizing rolling stock development with third parties involved by the customer to ensure seamless integration and product configuration control.

Coordinating contractual deliverables and monitoring product development progress.

Participating as the customer’s voice in managing technical risks and opportunities.

University degree in Engineering (Transportation Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent).

Basic knowledge of railway signaling principles.

Strong analytical skills.

Understanding and experience in software coding.

Proficiency in English (full professional use).

Basic knowledge of ITC hardware architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, IP networking, routing, operating systems).
