  • Lead the transformation plan and growth of Engineering team in Bucharest as “Shared Service Center” for projects applying INTERFLO solution
  • Cooperates with other Alstom sites to define activities and workload to be transferred and accordingly ensure the growth of competencies and skills of the resources
  • Contribute to projects QCD execution through allocation of adequate team (skills & quantity), ensure that standard engineering methods & tools are deployed as per INTERFLO solution/process
  • Contribute to Projects efficiency, based on REX from projects and continuous improvement of methods and tools


Specific responsibilities of the role:

  • Define and deploy the site Engineering Delivery Plan, consistently with the site and central engineering strategic plans
  • Manage & develop projects engineering team in full alignment with the “Shared Service Center” signalling strategy related to INTERFLO solution. In this context, he/she will lead transformation programs (develop new competencies, lead transfers between sites, and agrees training plans between sites)
  • Ensure that Signalling Project Engineering methods & tools are applied and contribute to their improvement to maximize efficiency
  • Ensure, with the support of Projects Engineering “métier/domain” department heads of other sites, that best practices and REX are identified and shared within Project Engineering teams
  • Manage competencies development plans with the support of Human Resources
  • Coordinate engineering resources allocation to projects and ensure their optimal utilization
  • Manage, plan, supervise and report on workload for the Site Project Engineering
  • Support the bid team for the definition of bid strategy, technical solution, return on experience, process and optimizations. He/she participates to the main tender gate reviews for major bids.
  • Represent Alstom Engineering locally, in the local working groups on Signalling Engineering, or at customer tender or project meetings

Experience & Qualification:


  • Graduated in Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in Projects or Project Engineering management deploying INTERFLO solutions and strong knowledge of related tools and engineering process
