Scope of the Job:

  • Ensure that the Management System applicable to the Site is adapted to the Business needs, coherent, deployed, used

and compliant with the Alstom and Region's referential.

  • Define and implement QMS and D&IS Documentation Management within the Project organisation.
  • Ensure the whole project documentation availability.
  • Categorize technical and management documents produced for the Project in accordance with: Alstom Transport internal rules, Project needs and Contract signed with the Customer relative to documentation management.


Compliance of site QMS:

  • To Ensure site QMS conformance with Alstom and Region QMS, Customer standards and ISO9001/IRIS requirements/CMMI/ECM...
  • To Issue yearly internal audit planning (including workstation audits) and monitors/controls its achievement
  • To Prepare, follow, and analyze QMS assessments achieved by certification bodies and main customers. Communicate about QMS improvement actions, through Quality network (site “Quality métiers” functions)
  • To Monitor processes implementation and integration on his site.
  • To Provide local teams with effective support (training, day-to-day coaching,…) as for process application
  • To Ensure "Problem Solving Tool" action plan management, following findings list issued after system audits
  • Prepare review and manage the system documentation acc. QMS site rules
  • Operates modifications in the EDMS for QMS documentation


Compliance Documentation Management System (D&IS, SER, QMS)

  • Applies the rules defined in the Documentation Management Plan (DMP), QMS Documentation WMS
  • Controls documentation formal homogeneity: template, reference, version,
  • Assigns reference, when needed, to the documentation produced and controls the electronic files identification and customer identification (if relevant),
  • Checks the identification used by entities and partners,
  • Records in the EDMS all technical and management documentation produced,
  • Makes sure internal validation of Project documents is done before submission to Customer,
  • Prepares and records documents submission to Customer/Partners,
  • Sends documentation according internal and external distribution list,
  • Provides documentation reporting and indicators according to Documentation Manager’s requests,
  • Manages the Project/Program documentation delivery on due time to Customer according to Documentation availability,
  • Informs the Core Team about next milestones related to documentation issues,
  • Follows Customer and stakeholder’s documentation status,
  • Creates and updates the document contractual templates according to contractual requirements,
  • Creates and updates the document templates,
  • Applies the documentation translation process (if required),
  • Organizes documents storage (during the Project, Product or System life) and archiving (at the end of the Project, Product or System life),
  • Suggests improvements of the activity (REX on documentation issues; process, organisation)
