Could you be the full-time Safety Assurance Manager / Group Leader in Bucharest we’re looking for?


Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your safety assurance expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside proactive and collaborative teammates.

You'll help shape the future of safe and reliable transportation systems by ensuring safety compliance across projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, quality, and independent safety assessors), coordinate safety assurance activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of deploying safety processes and managing safety issues resolution, but also delivering safety dashboards and leading local safety boards.

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

  • Coordinating safety assurance activities on projects within your scope, following established safety processes
  • Preparing tenders and safety quotations
  • Verifying safety analyses, including Safety Plans, Hazard Logs, Validation Reports, Safety Cases, and more
  • Defining safety plans and managing safety workloads and associated planning
  • Applying safety assurance methodologies, such as risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, and verification and validation
  • Defending Safety Case arguments in front of internal and external independent safety assessors
  • Coordinating local safety resources and ensuring alignment with engineering functions


All about you

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic Engineering) or a similar field
  • Fluency in Romanian and English for technical documentation and communication
  • Knowledge of CENELEC Standards for Safety (or equivalent) and safety principles, methodologies, and concepts
  • Strong experience in Functional Safety
  • Mastery of the full engineering cycle, from specification to verification and validation tasks
  • Experience in evaluating and monitoring safety workloads and schedules across complex projects
  • Structured, organized, and proactive approach to work
  • Strong sense of anticipation, urgency, and resilience under pressure
  • Ability to execute and coordinate analyses, design reviews, and evaluations using sound engineering principles
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
