Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and project expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll perform Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety (RAMS) analyses and produce related deliverables in accordance with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments on the project(s)/program(s). Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, and operations), apply the applicable Alstom Engineering/RAMS processes and instructions, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of providing crucial oversight and expertise to ensure system reliability and safety in service operations, but also contribute to the continuous improvement of RAMS methodologies and practices.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Performing the RAMS analyses you are in charge of, as per the applicable instructions/processes and other specific requirements committed to the customer.
  • Delivering RAMS analyses compliant with QCD work package commitments.
  • Addressing customer/independent parties’ (ISA, NoBo, DeBo, etc.) comments to gain approval on the RAMS deliverables within the limits of Alstom commitments.
  • Contributing to the assessment of the RAMS performance of the product and the upstream identification of necessary RAMS requirements to ensure the achievement of RAMS targets.
  • Applying Alstom/Engineering rules and processes to your activities, particularly those dedicated to RAMS activities.
  • Reporting on the progress of your activities and alerting the Train/Subsystem RAMS Engineer and management in case of challenges.
  • Taking a proactive and critical approach to the RAMS data/results you handle to enhance the adequacy/consistency of the RAMS studies and requirements.
  • Seeking technical understanding of Alstom products to better assess their safety performance and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Adopting a product-oriented mindset in performing your studies to foster the capitalization of the results of the studies towards the product’s RAMS performance.
