Overview:
The Project Manager acts within the boundaries of the contract together with the Country Management and the project team in order to deliver the object of the contract to the customer.
Specific responsibilities of the role:
- The Project Manager contributes to management of the project team and subcontractors personnel in order to allow the execution of the project on time and within budget
- Contributes to the successful completion of the assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality.
- Is responsible to apply the key Project Management Processes and the applicable tools for the implementation of these processes in his area of activity
- Ensures that all project team members that he coordinates have sufficient financial and reporting governance and to ensure all risks and opportunities are properly addressed and mitigated.
- Contributes to achievement of all the quality, cost, delivery commitments for all work packages
- Contributes to the management in convergence of all work packages as an integrated whole to meet the QCD commitments
- Develop and implement plans to improve project results beyond established budgets and targets. Monitor, control, and report monthly all financial aspects of the project consistent with the contractual requirements and approved project management procedures
- Drive and make decisions for issues that affect performance at the Project level
- Drive and make decisions on work packages to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepares and support management for all Project Reviews and Gate Reviews, including organization and reporting at project level
- Establishes and maintains customer interfaces in order to promote, monitor, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Anticipate and satisfy the customer's needs, while operating within established policies, procedures and commercial guidelines
- Contributes to identify, resolve and manage impact of all variation orders and internal changes.
- Contributes to identify and minimize all risks and maximize savings for the project
Experience & Qualification:
Technical upper education;
General knowledge on project management
Knowledge on financial and legal requirements regarding the coordination of the specific activity
English : advanced level
Computer knowledge: MS Office, Lotus Notes, Visio, and scheduling software use
