Could you be the full-time POS (Power Supply) Design Engineer we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and projects expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Constantin, in Bucharest.
You'll assist the Power Supply Manager in his role, being responsible to adapt / modify the ongoing railway electrification design work packages of a project or tender by producing part of the Design documents. You will represent technically the project, vis-à-vis the customer.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, quality, different support functions), manage the engineering related metiers and much more.
As “Power Supply Design Engineer” in project, you will:
- Perform the power supply (for high voltage / medium voltage / traction / low voltage parts) basic engineering activities of a project:
- Provide electrical architectures, technical specifications, functional specifications and interface specifications,
- Provide calculation notes,
- Ensure the technical validation of the supplier’s equipment offers,
- Perform the power supply (for high voltage / medium voltage / traction / low voltage parts) detailed engineering activities of a project:
- Follow-up and validation of the technical drawings from the equipment supplier,
- Provide the factory test procedures of the equipment
- Participate at the factory acceptance tests of the equipment.
- Assist the “Power Supply Design Leader” for coordination / interfaces with:
- The Saint-Ouen power supply engineering team (including automation and installation teams),
- The others sub-systems of the project, particularly: Systems, civil works, SCADA, catenary, return current, EMC, earthing & bonding, etc...
- The on-site power supply engineering team (if any),
- The customer,
- The project management team,
- The suppliers, the subcontractors, and the partners.
- Provide technical support to Construction and Test and Commissioning teams with regards to design issues,

Participate (if requested) to the As-built documentation drawings modifications.

- Educated to University Degree level in Engineering (rolling stock preferably)
- 2 years experience in ACAD design program.
- Excellent knowledge in technical drawing
- English language: good level
- Autonomy, motivated, initiative, good communication and interested in technical topics
- English language: good level
- Mastering of 2D/3D CAD softwares and usual office softwares
