Could you be the full-time Plant & Tool Technician/Mechanic in Caransebes we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Gabriel - Plant & Tool Manager, and work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.

You will be responsible with service maintenance & repair of Plant & Tools being in charge of:

Application of the service maintenance and repair methods for plants & tools

Application of the user rules of plants & tools

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance

We’ll look to you for:

 Application of the instruction from his management to enable the best availability of the plants and tools in the optimal conditions:

performances, quality and health, safety and environment.

  • The Plants and Tools mechanics or maintainer reports directly to the Plant and Tools Technician and is in charge of making sure that the plants & tools are in conformity with their user rules, service procedures, and the defined maintenance plan.
  • His duties include the follow up of the status of the plants & tools and maintain the highest level of availability.
  • He alerts and reports to the management on any concerns he has related to the job he has to perform or to the plants & tools

he is controling, and especially regarding: HSE, Quality, etc.

Delivery

Report of the maintenance and repair activities of the plants & tools (Maintenance forms, consumables, etc.)

Report his hours and materials/spare parts consumption

He/she must be based on-shore, on site, typically in the Project Leading Unit.

Performance measurements:

HSE compliance

Quality compliance regarding the service maintenance and repair metho

 

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: 

  • Plants and Tools experience and mechanic degree
  • Certification on Railway Safety is a pluss
  • Experience in mechanic service.

  • Validated experience and/or license in the machines and tools used

  • Knowledge of Track and Catenary construction equipment and railway equipment is a pluss
  • Mechanic and hydraulic service competencies: thermal engines, hydraulic, electromechanical and pneumatic systems

  • Knowledge of HSE requirements of the plants & tools.

  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills

  • Mobility
