OCS (Overhead Contact Systems) Design Engineer

Could you be the full-time  OCS (Overhead Contact System) Design Engineer in Bucharest, Romania we’re looking for?

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

You'll assist the OCS Design Team in performing design activities for projects or tenders by producing key design documents. You will also represent the project technically in front of the customer, ensuring satisfaction and confidence in our solutions.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, quality, and support functions), manage engineering-related tasks, and much more. You’ll specifically take care of creating OCS Basic Designs and Detailed Designs, but also contribute to ensuring quality and producing competitive alternatives.

We’ll look to you for:

• Producing OCS General Arrangements, Technical Specifications, and Assemblies & Parts
• Developing OCS Layout Rules, Calculation Rules, and Feeding and Earthing & Bonding (E&B) principles
• Creating OCS interface specifications
• Producing Detailed, Construction, and As-Built Designs, including layouts, schematics, and mounting sheets
• Conducting OCS feeding studies and interfaces with bridges/structures
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering quality within the scope of your activities

Qualifications:

• A degree in engineering, preferably in mechanics or material science
• 1-2 years of experience with ACAD design programs
• Strong drafting and written communication skills
• Autonomy, motivation, initiative, and good communication abilities
• Proficiency in English
• Mastery of 2D/3D CAD software and common office tools
