Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and motivated teammates, reporting to Catalina in Bucharest.
You'll assist the “OCS Design Manager” (OCS DL) in performing design activities (Basic, Detailed, etc.) for a project or tender by producing part of the design documents. You’ll represent the project technically in front of the customer, ensuring satisfaction and confidence in our solutions.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, quality, and different support functions), manage engineering-related tasks, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of producing OCS Basic Design and Detailed Design documents while ensuring quality and competitiveness, but also contribute to customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
We’ll look to you for:
- Producing OCS Basic Design documents, including general arrangements, technical specifications, assemblies, layout rules, calculation rules, feeding, earthing, and bonding principles, as well as interface specifications.
- Delivering OCS Detailed Design, Construction, and As-Built Design documents, including layouts, schematics, calculation sheets, mounting sheets, feeding studies, and interface studies with bridges/structures.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence through high-quality deliverables.
- Providing competitive alternatives and innovative solutions.
- Guaranteeing quality within all framework activities.
- Collaborating effectively across teams to meet project/tender goals.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
- A degree in engineering, preferably in mechanics or material science (rolling stock experience is a plus).
- 2-3 years of experience in ACAD design programs.
- At least one project experience related to OCS technology.
- Strong drafting and written communication skills.
- Autonomy, motivation, initiative, and a keen interest in technical topics.
- Proficiency in English (good level).
- Mastery of 2D/3D CAD software and standard office applications.
