Could you be the full-time OCS (Overhead Contact Systems) Design Engineer we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and projects expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Stefan, in Bucharest.

You'll assist the “OCS Design Manager” (OCS DL) in his role of performing the Design activities (Basic, Detailed…) of a project or tender by producing part of the Design documents.

You will represent technically the project, vis-à-vis the customer.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, industrial, quality, different support functions), manage the engineering related metiers and much more.

As “OCS Design Engineer” in project, you will:

  • The Design Engineer produces a part of the OCS Basic Design on the project/tender :

    OCS General Arrangements

    OCS Technical specifications

    OCS Assemblies & parts

    OCS Layout rules

    OCS Calculation rules and notes

    OCS Feeding and Earthing and Bonding (E&B) principles

    OCS interfaces specifications

     

  • The Design Engineer produces a part of the OCS Detailed, Construction and As-built Design on the project/tender :

    OCS Layouts

    OCS Schematics

    OCS Calculation sheets

    OCS Mounting sheets

    OCS Feeding studies

    OCS interfaces with Bridges/Structures studies

    Obtain Customer’s satisfaction and confidence

    Produce competitive alternatives

    Guarantees the quality within the framework of activities

 

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: 

  • Graduated from engineering school in mechanics/material science (rolling stock preferably)
  • 2-3 years experience in ACAD design program
  • A minimum of one project experience in the OCS technology related to the project/tender
  • Good drafting of written documents,
  • Autonomy, motivated, initiative, good communication and interested in technical topics
  • English language: good level
  • Mastering of 2D/3D CAD softwares and usual office softwares
