Your future role

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Operations Manager, and work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.

 

This position will handle Operations management for the ARF 37 Project - Services in Romania product line. We work closely with teams across the company (project management, engineering, industrial, quality, various support functions), we keep in touch with teams and much more.

 

The Maintenance engineer position, reporting direct to Operation Manager will have the following responsibilities:

 

 

 

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Monitoring and control of production according to the shift. Ensure that responsibility for production is clearly defined and delegated.
  • Identification of personnel requirements for the budgeted fixed workload, ensuring flexibility and high levels of productivity achieved.
  • Identifying training and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most efficient way.
  • Ensure that all production meets the safety and quality requirements of internal standards, customers' specifications.
  • Monitors work practices and the working environment to ensure that staff and facilities meet mandatory requirements and/or legal requirements.
  • Conducts, in the absence of the direct manager, the analysis in case there was a failure in the realization of the production. Take action to ensure improvements.
  • Support continuous process improvement. Search for and implement changes to improve maintenance and operational processes.
  • Take the place of the Operations Manager, when he is out of office.
  • Performs periodic training of subordinate workers in the field of occupational health and safety, based on the training theme./ Performs periodic training of subordinate employees in the field of occupational health and safety, based on the training curriculum;
  • Sets work tasks and organizes the activity in accordance with the requirements of work safety, environmental protection and energy efficiency. / Sets the work tasks and organizes the activity according to the health and safety requirements at work;

  • Complete and sign the records / measurement records;

  • Technical high level education - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering;
  • Technical knowledge of traction and relevant rolling stock.
  • An understanding of railway depots and railway industry operations is preferable;
  • Experience in rolling stock maintenance is an advantage.
