Could you be the full-time Logistics Operator in Bucharest we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates, reporting directly to Gelu in Bucharest.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of Alstom’s maintenance workshops and depots in Bucharest by supplying spare parts and materials, managing the removal of defective parts and waste, and handling transportation using equipment like electric trucks, cranes, pallet trucks, forklifts, and elevators. You’ll also drive road vehicles to support the company’s activities.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with supply chain, logistics, procurement, and operations teams, contributing to maintenance activities and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of logistics activities related to the maintenance of Bucharest’s metro fleet.
We’ll look to you for:
- Driving industrial transport vehicles and performing small repairs to keep them operational
- Inspecting domestic vehicles for technical damages or defects and promptly reporting any issues
- Loading, unloading, transporting, and arranging goods in the warehouse and production workshops
- Ensuring the safe internal transport of goods
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in warehouses and workshops
- Participating in problem-solving using APSYS tools
- Adhering to rules for storing and handling materials, and reporting anomalies to the manager
- Driving Alstom-owned or leased road vehicles
- Transporting people, documents, and materials safely and responsibly
- Picking up goods from suppliers, verifying delivery documents, and ensuring product accuracy
- Inspecting and counting parts and parcels, and reporting any discrepancies or damages
- Arranging goods in vehicles to ensure safe transportation
- Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of vehicles
- Promptly reporting any vehicle defects or damages to the transport manager or supervisor
- Notifying the relevant authority and assisting in damage reporting in case of incidents or road accidents

- Technical medium-level education
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Forklift authorization
- Crane authorization
- Proficiency in using computer tools such as Word and Excel
- Minimum category B driver’s license
- Familiarity with industrial activities
