Could you be the full-time logistics operator in Bucharest we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Gelu in Bucharest and work alongside his professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll  supply Alstom maintenance workshops and depots in Bucharest with spare parts and materials, will assure removal of defective parts and waste from maintenance workshops, will handle and transport materials with equipment like: electric truck, crane, pallet truck, forklift, elevator and will drive road vehicles in the interest of the company.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with supply chain, logistics, procurement and operation teams contributing to different maintenance activities and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of logistics activity related to the maintenance of the metro fleet in Bucharest.

 

We’ll look to you for:

• Driving pedal vehicles for industrial transport and carrying out small repairs in order to keep the vehicles in working order

• When taking over the domestic vehicle, to ensure that it does not have any technical damages or defects. If malfunctions are detected, immediately notify the hierarchical manager

• Loading, unloading, transporting and arranging the goods in the warehouse as well as in the production workshops

• Ensuring the safe performance of the internal transport of goods

• Maintaining order in the warehouse and in the workshop

• Participating in solving issues with APSYS tools

• Observing the rules for entering and removing goods from the warehouse, observing the rules for storing materials and notifying the manager whenever anomalies are discovered

• Driving road vehicles owned or used by Alstom

• Transporting people, documents and materials necessary for the supply of the company and is responsible for their transport in good conditions

• Picking-up the goods from the supplier according to the order, checking the products and ensuring the correctness of the data entered on the delivery documents

• Visually checking and counting the parts and/or parcels and if there are anomalies (broken parcels, damaged parts) or differences compared to the quantity written in the delivery notes, he will not pick up the goods and will notify the superior

• Arranging the goods in the vehicle so that the transport is done safely without damaging the products.

• Maintaining cleanliness in the vehicle, taking care of its proper functioning;

• When taking over the vehicle, ensuring that it does not show damage or technical defects

• Immediately notifying the transport manager or the hierarchical boss if defects/damages to the vehicle are found

• In case of incidents or road accidents, immediately notifying the person in charge of transport and together with him participating in the opening of the damage file in question

  • Technical medium level education
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Forklift authorization;
  • Crane authorization;
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel;
  • Minimum category B driver's license.
  • Familiarity with a similar industrial activity
