Overview:

The position aims at supporting the Cluster/Country Head of Legal in all legal matters arising from the Company's and/or Group's activities, in particular :

Key accountabilities:

  • Handle corporate and company law matters  
  • Prepare, review and negotiate contracts or other legal documents
  • Evaluate tender documents and support with the relative claims
  • Support the business in all legal matters including claim management, dispute settlement, litigation, arbitration or other matters
  • Represent the company before public entities
  • Promote the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

Performance measurements:   

Objectives, targets and performance measurements are defined on a yearly basis in line with the company’s financial targets, the General Counsel’s objectives for the Legal, Compliance and Contract Management Function.

Experience & Qualification:

  • Law degree in business law (Master II)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm
  • Familiar with international contracts; FIDIC is a plus 
  • Familiar with public tenders
  • Fluent in Romanian language
  • Excellent English language skills
