Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Silviu, and work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll Perform Mechanical Design Activities for projects within the group, being member of the Installation Design team, part of the Engineering Department.

You will report hierarchically to Installation Design Manager, functionally to the Domain team leader.

 

We’ll look to you for:

  • Support the Domain team leader
  • Produce the mechanical drawing and the 3D presentation;
  • Ensure FEA/FEM of the solutions;
  • Ensure the respect of all the mechanical design constraints of each solution;
  • Perform survey on site (inside the train) and define the technical solution for the mechanical part;
  • Report any failure of the mechanical solution during the train fitment in order to address the change in short term period;

  • Master’s degree in engineering school / university, specialisation or oriented in mechanical design

Desired Knowledge / Experience

  • Knowledge of railways is an asset.
  • Knowledge of CATIA/INVENTOR is an asset.
  • Knowledge of FEM calculation is an asset
  • Writing skills: clarity, rigor, and concision
  • German language is a plus
  • English, minimum FCE
  • French language is an asset.

  • Availability to be on site during Train surveys and First of Class(prototype installation). (Germany, Norway, Belgium)
