Could you be our new Engineering Quality Engineer we’re looking for?

 

Your future job

 

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to George Rusen (Engineering Quality Manager) and work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates. As an Engineering Quality Engineer you will:

  • Manage the Engineering related deliverables to reach On Time and Quality performance targets [Delivery Quality Indicator, DfQ GR GO with suitable maturity of the baselines and deliverables, OTD of the project]
  • Drive REX Capitalization for continuous improvement
  • Monitor and drive 8D and major NCR management from opening up to closing

 

We’ll look to you for:

 

Making sure that Engineering Standards are well known and applied:

  • Alert in case of deviation,
  • Manage corrective actions when necessary and propose improvements when relevant,

Improving Quality Engineering Standards with the return of experience:

  • Manage no recurrent list top issue and check recurrence in project execution,

Quality assurance of Engineering discipline deliverables:

  • Check quality status of Engineering deliverables including REX,
  • Support Gate Review preparation regarding Engineering scope,

Design Reviews:

  • Assures Design Reviews are scheduled and held On Time,
  • Attend to DR, challenge, and check consistency of the DR vs Project Risks,
  • Make sure that DR are well prepared and fueled GR process,
  • Follow action plan and update Design Review status.

Delivery Reviews:

  • Schedules and organizes the Delivery Reviews,
  • Follow action plan and update DyR status

Peer Reviews:

  • Baseline Strategy Peer Review
  • V&V Plan Peer Review

Managing Engineering Quality issues:

  • Attend to CCB Meetings,
  • Make sure that problem solving process is properly applied and meet the objectives,
  • Propose and follow up action plans for improvement

Educational Requirements

  • Technical and/or software development diploma
  • Experience in Quality and Railway - desirable
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of MS business suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
