Could you be the full-time Verification & Validation Engineer in Bucharest we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll perform Verification & Validation (V&V) activities related to Interlocking for Central and East Europe Projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Managers, Technical Leads, Safety, Installation, and Test & Commissioning teams), performing testing, collaborating on solutions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of defining test plans and methodologies, but also perform and report on allocated verification, integration, and test activities.
We’ll look to you for:
- Defining verification methodologies for selected deliverables, as required by the V&V strategy
- Creating test plans and test descriptions for in-house activities
- Performing and reporting on allocated verification, integration, and test activities
- Collaborating with the Safety Assurance Manager to share and justify results for safety demonstrations
- Interfacing with experts in other departments to align on V&V activity methodologies
- Specifying, procuring, developing, setting up, and configuring assets such as test benches and instrumentation
- Following up with Test & Commissioning teams for tests exported to site execution

- University degree in Engineering (Transportation Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of railway signalling principles
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding and experience in software coding
- Proficiency in English
- Basic knowledge of ITC hardware architectures (e.g., client/server, workstation/blade, IP networking, routing, operating systems)
