Could you be the full-time Deputy Mechanical Components Repairing Workshop Manager in Bucharest we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your production, management and organizing expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Horatiu, in Bucharest and work alongside his professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll manage and coordinate our repairing activities for metro trains mechanical components  for the 15 years metro trains maintenance  project - Services product line in Romania. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, project management, engineering, industrial, quality, different support functions), offer support to our local teams, maintain the link with our teams from other locations and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensure production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are achieved through the execution of the production plan and through the efficient management of resources.

We’ll look to you for: ensure that at depot level Alstom Transport is delivering the proper service to meet customer requirements and keep under control and report all evidences required for the local maintenance activity.

Responsibilities

  • Follow-up of the accuracy of the data populated in the RAILSYS system by local depot users and feedback to users for correction ;
  • Assure the storage of the documents and appropriate registration of its activity.
  • Collaborate with production / operations in case of common activity;
  • Maintain under control Train history books for the trains operated in the depot (update of included documentation);
  • Prepare monthly schedule of time-based and km-based revisions ;
  • Prepare and validate monthly reporting of repairing activities for the mechanical components
  • Coordinate the activity of the teams in order to achieve QCDS objectives;
  • Participate together with support functions to the continuous improvement process to reduce the costs and increase the maintenance quality process;
  • Coordinate the teams activity in order to respect the maintenance plan - anticipate the problems

  • University degree - Engineer - Transport Faculty is a plus
  • Experience in rolling stock maintenance is an advantage
  • Computer skills - PC - advance
  • Team spirit and good organizer
  • An Understanding of Railway Depot and Railway Industry Operations preferable.
  • MS Office, SAP, Word, Excel knowledge
