Could you be the full-time Bid Manager in Bucharest we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your bid management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside professional and dedicated teammates.

You'll manage the Tender Quality Costs Delivery Performance (QCDP) commitment for non-critical or low-critical bids, ensuring the delivery of winning proposals with defined scope, accurate QCDP commitments, and adherence to timelines and budgets. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (sales, business development, project management, engineering, industrial, quality, and support functions), coordinate tender activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of pre-tendering activities, compliance with internal rules, and bid operational strategy, but also manage tender deliverables and customer negotiations.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Coordinating pre-tendering activities to understand customer needs and promote Alstom’s products
  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s rules and instructions
  • Collaborating with Tender Leaders and tender teams to deliver high-quality proposals
  • Managing tender budgets and ensuring cost optimization
  • Defining bid operational strategies and aligning them with commercial objectives
  • Preparing technical and administrative documentation for customer submissions
  • Supporting customer negotiations and contract reviews
  • Maintaining traceability of all tender-related documentation
  • Contributing to continuous improvement through Win-Loss Analysis and feedback sharing

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Technical upper education
  • Project/Bid Management background, especially in costing, planning, and risk management
  • Basic knowledge of offered products and systems
  • Understanding of financial, contractual, and legal aspects to interface with internal stakeholders
  • Strong team management and collaboration skills, especially under time constraints
  • Excellent communication and reporting capabilities
  • Sense of anticipation and customer-oriented mindset
