Could you be the full-time Bid Manager in Bucharest we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Cristian and work alongside dynamic, adaptable and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll will deliver winning bid, with a balanced risk level, according to the Platform strategy and Alstom Financial rules.
- Manage bids preparation with the support of the Bid Technical Manager and the Bid Cost Manager and following Tender Leader instructions
- Analyse the Request for Proposal and define the bid operational strategy taking into account the commercial strategy defined by the Tender Leader and Solutions Director
- Propose PIO (Project Industrial Organisation), partnership / consortium strategies and external system purchases to the Solution Bids Director to get his / her validation
- Commit on a QCD after having reviewed the complete bid with the Bid Cost Manager and Bid Technical Manager
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Tax, Insurance to delivered optimized Price, Cash Curve and Price List
- Identify, analyse and register the risks and saving opportunities
- Ensure the Bid is validated as per TIS Bid process
- Pro-actively follow the Customer negotiations and evolution of the offer and communicate on the changes, re-launch the approval process after having analysed the QCD impact of the changes
- Issue the TTM (Tender Transfer meeting) reflecting the contract as concluded and contribute to build on return of experience
Experience & Qualification:
- University degree, with either an Engineering, Financial, Legal or Business Administration background or equivalent
- Typically 5-6 years of experience
- Experience in cross functional bids
- Working experience in one or more of: Project Management, Bids, Bid Controlling, Project Engineering or Operations
- Good technical understanding of complex technical systems and products
- Good knowledge of financial processes in long term projects.
- Very good written & spoken English
- Advanced Excel knowledge and MS Project required.
- Knowledge of time-related contractual obligations and principles of delay analysis.
- Basic comprehension of railway industry products and technologies.
- Curiosity, the drive to learn, and the readiness to share knowledge with others.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; a effective team player.
- Ability to challenge and guide teams and be proactive in proposing solutions.
- Adaptability in a multi-cultural and rapidly changing environment.
