Could you be the full-time ATC Application Design Engineer in Bucharest, Romania we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Flori and work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll Perform ATC application design activities of a ERTMS project related to ETCS (European Train Control Systems) for Central and East Europe Projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Manager, Technical responsible), adopting the Alstom application design process and ensuring the delivery accordingly to the projects schedule.
We’ll look to you for:
- Ensure the application and adherence to the reference application design methods & tools, requesting in cooperation with the Project ATC design.
- Analyse and manage design change requests and participate actively to the definition of the SW package to be delivered to the V&V, installation, and Testing & Commissioning teams.
- Define, produce, and validate all ATC application data, documents, and parameters.
- Produce documents and software design deliveries accordingly to the project templates and needs.
- Participate actively to the ATC detailed design review meetings, progress meeting and provide activity progress reports.
- Deliver design scheme plan layouts S-HMI layouts and ETCS Signalling sketch.
- The ATC Application Design Engineer shares with Project ATC Design Leader the progress of the activities executed, the issues and the potential improvement that can be applied on methods and tools.
- Understand customer requirements and project context.

Qualifications:
- Degree in engineering (Transportation Systems/Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of railway signaling principles
- Good analytical skill
- Understanding and experience in Software coding
- Foreign language: English, full proficient use
- Basic knowledge of ITC Hardware architectures (client/server, workstation/Blade, Ip networking, routing, operating systems).
