Key accountabilities:

  • Application of relevant processes for reception, storage and expedition as well as refill of parts and tools in accordance with PI best practice
  • Kitting (if applicable) and dispatching of parts and tools for PI activities
  • Organize and optimize transportation of parts and tools
  • Populate the appropriate data base and report relevant information to PI Logistic leader and PI Customer site manager
  • Perform physical inventory on a yearly basis
  • Manage & control validity and certification of relevant tools & material
  • Contribute to internal & external supplier follow-up and claims in collaboration with PI Support manager
  • Ensure any Quality or Environment Health & Safety (EHS) documents such as conformity certificates are collected, stored and updated according to ISO rules
  • Respect EHS rules and any work-related processes
  • Report local consignment / warranty stock availability to Project Product Introduction Manager, PrPIM (maintain stock)

 

Performance measurements:

  • Footprint, accessibility and cleanliness of warehouse
  • Lead time for expedition of material
  • Availability of parts and tools
  • Availability of relevant certificates, certifications
  • Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Quality and availability of data for material management

 

Educational Requirements

 

Mandatory:

  • Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)
  • Minimum IT knowledge
  • Internal EHS training
  • Native Dutch, fluet in English and French

 

Desirable:

  • Bachelor in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronic)

 

Experience

 

Mandatory:

  • Several years of customer depot or warehouse environment
  • Understanding and experience with Logistics issues
  • Field Experience
  • EHS knowledge and exposure
  • Product knowledge

 

Desirable:

  • Engineering knowledge
  • Customer contact
  • Transparent communication and interrelation skills
  • Easy supplier contacts
