For our Bruges site (formerly Bombardier Transportation) in Belgium we are currently looking for a motivated and enthousiastic Human Resources Business Partner

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

 

Your daily focus lies on employee life cycle delivery using global processes and this in close collaboration with line management.

In addition, your mission is to support the integration of the two companies. The different HR processes, procedures and tools of Alstom and Bombardier will be aligned and integrated and this without losing sight of cultural aspects and way of working.  

 

 

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

 

 

  1. Employee life cycle management following the global processes:
  • You will work on individual employee life cycle cases while ensuring internal equity and fairness of treatment of people across functions.
  • You support the HR processes implementation and HR governance.
  • You manage the HR data and analysis (cost, headcount, absenteeism, turnover etc.) in collaboration with the HR Service Center.
  • You manage the local pensions and benefit schemes.
  • You write and/or collaborate on internal communication.

 

  1. Local People Strategy:
  • You decide on manpower planning in close collaboration with line management.
  • You will follow up the Talent process.
  • You become a trusted advisor of line management.
  • You support line managers in their role of people manager.

 

  1. Integration :
  • You collaborate in the different HR integration projects : function structuring, benefit packages, reporting,…

 

  1. Recruitment :
  • You work on employer branding projects.
  • You support the process of recruitment of blue and white colors.

 

  1. Labor Compliance:
  • You are responsible for the employee relations according to the rules of social law.  You keep yourself up to date regarding changes in social law.
  • You support the line managers to drive people topics and to act within site/ country labor regulations and legal compliance.
  • You collaborate with employee representatives in labor related topics.

 

 

You will be supported by the HR Service Center in Romania, which consists of many centers of HR expertise

 

QUALIFICATION:

  • Degree in Industrial Psychology, Economics, Law or any other relevant education.
  • Experience in a similar position for up to 5 to 10 years depending on business complexity.
  • You have a basic knowledge of social law.
  • You are a good communicator, an agile team player, highly responsive and can work autonomous.
  • You have good coaching skills.
  • You have the discretion which is expected while working on people cases.
  • You have a hands-on mentality. 
  • A fast-moving environment within a ‘ramp -up’ context is not a threat to you.
  • Experience with labour relations is a plus, however not necessary.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch.
