•    Define and manage the Safety Plan, safety workload, and planning
•    Build and defend Safety Reports and Safety Cases with internal and external assessors (ISA)
•    Organize and participate in periodic Safety Reviews and manage assessor action plans
•    Support tenders and project teams with system and product safety integration
•    Manage Safety Assurance Engineers and act as Safety Leader for identified safety issues, including 8D process execution

All About You

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we believe the following will help you succeed in this role:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Systems Engineering
•    Strong experience in safety assurance, including working experience in the railway sector
•    Strong knowledge of CENELEC Safety Standards or equivalent (AREMA, IEEE) and safety methodologies
•    Experience acting as safety reference for projects or systems, including Safety Case activities
•    Prior coordination or people management experience (preferred)
•    English proficiency for technical documentation (reading and writing)
•    Structured, analytical mindset with strong collaboration and communication skills

Things You’ll Enjoy

Join us on a life long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

•    Work in a dynamic environment with a permanent position at a leading company for green mobility
•    Enjoy a competitive remuneration package, 30 days of vacation, and attractive benefits
•    Benefit from flexible working hours and hybrid working models
•    Work in our modern ARTmax office with excellent public transport connections
•    Explore international career opportunities across functions and projects
•    Access excellent training via our award winning Alstom University and innovation programs

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud.
If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
