Your Future Role
At our modern office at ARTmax in Braunschweig, over 250 colleagues from 26 countries work on research and development with a focus on the digitization of rail. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to the Site Procurment Director and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
As Project Procurement Manager, you will secure that suppliers QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) performances are in line with objectives for defined projects, be work package owner for the project and an interface between project & sourcing.
You are result and data driven, strong communicator and have a cooperative way of working. You are comfortable in an international and multi-cultural environment and on-time delivery for you is trouble-free.
We’ll look for you to:
- Manage the sourcing activity of our Projects, with a strong focus on installation & civil/ / construction works services
- Organize and Communicate project needs and ensures they are properly taken into account:
- Define and implement the Project Sourcing Strategy in full respect of QCD commitments:
- Manage the Supplier’s Work Packages and contractual obligations (in close collaboration with Contract Management)
- Leads cost improvement plans
All About You
- MASTER in purchasing or equivalent (engineering, project management)
- Interest in technical field
- 5+ years of experience (Project, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality) in the area of Civil / construction works (Bauleistungen)
- Ability to work in a matrix environment
- Strong communication skills & Team spirit
- Ability to challenge
