Your Future Role

 

Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. Our product line Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) answers worldwide mobility challenges for passengers and freight transportation through digitalisation. You’ll report to Raji Zoura and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.


We’ll look for you to:

 

As a key player in our Digital & Integrated Systems team, you will be at the forefront of innovation, ensuring the successful implementation of Installation Engineering projects. 
 
•    Compliance with quality, costs and deadlines (QCD) for the overall “Installation Engineering” work package.
•    Responsible for the technical/constructive implementation for the entire duration of a project from development, approval, to the end of the warranty.
•    Ensure the fulfilment of requirements (implementation of customer specifications/legal approval requirements/group specifications) considering reference projects/experiences.
•    Prepare and participate in appointments in the area of responsibility such as presentation of the technical solution and approval of the specifications at customer meetings, presentation of projects including coordination of requirements. 
•    Coordinate and define work packages/specifications within the framework of requirements and technical coordination at vehicle level over time.
•    Plan, carry out design reviews (checking target achievement, project progress) with regard to target achievement (GO/NO-GO).

•    Successfully completed university degree with technical focus and corresponding several years of professional experience.
•    Strong knowledge of all common MS Office and technical tools.
•    Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written.
•    Knowledge of rail vehicle technology and systems, such as TCMS control technology, drive, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
•    Independent, customer- and goal-oriented way of working
•    Commitment, high level of initiative, team and organizational skills 
•    Willingness to travel
