Could you be the full-time Documentation Engineer in Braunschweig, Germany we’re looking for?

 

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your documentation expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Team lead Documentation Management, and work alongside passionate, motivated and diverse teammates.

You'll be the person that defines and implement Documentation Management within wayside projects and ensures that the whole project documentation is available.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Define and implement Documentation Management within the Project organization
  • Define and Monitor complete Project Documentation including scheduled KPI reporting
  • Execute Documentation Life Cycle
  • Transfer contractual customer requirements into Alstom Documentation Management Plan (DMP)
  • Manage the documentation delivery in due time to all internal & external stakeholders
  • Deploy and maintain Alstom standard Electronic Documentation Management System (EDMS) on project level including training for new team members
  • Manage, in applying internal rules/instructions, Document translation, record management and physical archiving.
  • Analyse customer requirements for documentation for high critical tenders and assess risks of project execution

  • Project management background level depending on the complexity of the Project/Program
  • Experience with electronic document management systems is desired
  • Product data management (PDM) knowledge is a big plus
  • Good Communications and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
  • Clear reporting skills and multi-tasking
  • Ability to challenge project team.
  • Fluent German & English language skills – spoken and written
