Alstom Digital Mobility offers a wide range of services and products related to signal technology and infrastructure. In close collaboration with our global product competence centers, we cover not only business development, sales, and offer management but also customer-centric project execution, including project management, certification, system engineering, documentation, mechanical integration, installation, commissioning, and warranty.

 

We are looking for support at our location in Braunschweig or Berlin.

 

Your Tasks:

 

• You will take a leading role in developing and designing cutting-edge electrical solutions within signal technology projects, guided by detailed specifications and technical documentation.

• You will be entrusted with the vital responsibility of strategically planning electrical workloads, accurately estimating material costs, manufacturing hours, and design hours, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Your role will involve close collaboration with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and other Alstom units, for seamless technical coordination and clarification.

• You will spearhead the detailed planning and meticulous structuring of individual work steps for complex electromechanical systems within the project.

• Engage in hands-on design and integration tasks, crafting functional descriptions that form the backbone of our innovative solutions.

• You will be instrumental in creating precise supplier specifications, along with comprehensive design documentation, bills of materials, work instructions, and modification records.

• Oversee and manage subsystems, establishing strong relationships with suppliers and partners to ensure seamless project execution.

• Collaborate closely with an international project team operating across Belgium, Germany, and France, for a truly global perspective.

 

Your Profile:

 

Education:

• You boast a successful completion of a comprehensive technician training program and have accumulated extensive professional experience in a similar role within an industrial setting.

 

Experience and Knowledge:

• Possessing a firm grasp of German signal technology terminology and a solid understanding of railway safety requirements is highly advantageous.

• Your experience in navigating the intricacies of an international environment will be invaluable in this dynamic role.

• Demonstrated independence, a solution-oriented mindset, and a keen ability to navigate complex relationships are key attributes that will drive your success in this position.

• Your assertiveness, adaptability, and resilience will be pivotal in managing the diverse challenges that come with this role.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with a natural aptitude for teamwork, will set you apart as a key contributor to our collaborative efforts.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English is a must.

• Familiarity with MS Office, and adeptness in Zuken E3 and SAP, will equip you with the necessary tools for success.
