Could you be the full-time OCS Construction Supervisor in Brasov/Sighisoara area we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise and experience for one of our projects, Sighisoara - Brasov, part of the program of rehabilitation of the European Corridor IV. The purpose of the project is to increase the running speed from 120 km/h to 160 km/h. You’ll report to Sorin and work alongside his professional and dedicated teammates.
We’ll look to you for:
- The Construction Supervisor undertakes delegated responsibilities from the PrYM to deliver allocated sections of the project installation in accordance with the project schedule.
- Undertake leadership in site safety – Identification of responsibility, assessment of documentation, Safety inspection.
- Ensure quality of installation by inspection and management of process ensuring inspections are undertaken by supervisory staff, including management of special process deployment
- Ensure installation is undertaken in compliance with the Alstom Installation Process: 4M application, Installation report.
- Plan works in accordance with the project, identifying and booking possessions and railway access for installation and T&C activities.
- Support the PrYM with site investigations, surveys and field inspections as required by the customer or project needs; and attend as per request meeting related to installation package
- Liaise closely with T&C to complete handovers in a timely productive fashion, including review of Installation BOQ and updates as per project requirements.
- Work / Supervision / Subcontractor management
- Review and sign off Installation Method statements / Work package Plans, review Installation drawings and documents issued for installation and manage of site copies of Drawing to correct versions “Approved For Construction”
- Lead, manage, organize and plan the installation activities with Alstom Installation Supervisor and/or Subcontractors, including allocation of resources
- Issue daily/weekly installation report and complete installation progress trackers / task and activity sheets in accordance with the Alstom Installation Process
- Adhere to Alstom zero deviation policies and make sure installer and sub-contractor follow the Alstom EHS polices.
- Identify and capture change and risks associated with the installation package with potential costs and associated risks.
- Monthly review with PrYM, the QCD of the part of Installation Work Package related to his activities,
- Manage the allocation of tools for use on the project and returns for calibration and repair in accordance with process
- Undertake performance reviews and staff development discussions

- High level education
- Validated experience in OCS installation
- Romanian language mandatory
