Industrialize cabling and functional tests by preparing and providing to test teams test documents, tools and test means.

Ensure that the industrial requirements tests are taken into account during design phases, to validate the test industrialization files and support the serial test team during serial life project phase.

Role & Responsabilities


In product development phase

- Guarantee that the tests requirements are taken into account within product design

  • Being a real project life player
  • Prepare and export to engineering the test requirements
  • Participate to key design reviews


- Industrialize the wiring tests

  • Write the test procedures
  • Write test programs and corresponding tables
  • Write test interfaces schematics
  • Provide test means (testers, interfaces ...) or manage their externalization.
  • Calculate time methods
  • Set up the cabling test area


- Industrialize functional tests

  • Get all the technical documentation required for the studies to be carried out.
  • Write the test procedures
  • Program computers required for the tests
  • Write the test simulators schematics
  • Provide test means (simulators, test benches) or manage their externalization.
  • Calculate time methods
  • Set up the functional tests area


- Proceed to product and process fine tuning until validation of industrialization files

  • Accompany and participate to the first tests on train 1
  • Validate the industrialization file in real time on the train 1


In serial phase

- Provide support to the test teams

  • Support test teams in case of technical problems requiring it
  • Participate workplace studies


- Industrialize product modifications

  • Modify and maintain tests documents
  • Ensure the availability of the documentation for the !st rank of application of the modification


- Be a permanent actor of continuous improvement

  • To constantly keep as a target the method times reduction
  • Make technological scanning
  • To keep feeding and enriching the tests requirements with the tests return of experience


Background  /profile

  • Electrotechnical training and/or experience. Bachelor in this domain appreciated
  • Experience in Rolling stock test and commissioning appreciated
  • 2+ years experience in testing



  • Must feel very comfortable with computers, IT tools and new information technologies
  • Good level in Excel mandatory
  • Cable harnesses simple design and autonomous manufacturing
  • VBA programming knowledge appreciated
  • Computers TCP/IP network knowledge appreciated
