Objectives
• Work-Orders open and release in the respect of the standards
• Follow-up of the material availability on the workstations
• Respect of 5S, Foot Print and EHS standards
• First point of contact for the EPU managers for Supply Chain issues
• Assist MCA and repair loops process for Ottawa site
Responsibilities
Work orders / Service orders
• Open and release GSI Production Orders to initiate work of specific cars at specific stations at the correct time;
• Apply the appropriate methodology to ensure a good application of the processes in place
• Update the data and part in ERP system
• Contribute to Ensure stock accuracy by tracking correctly repairs of faulty products and issuance of good stock from the warehouse
• Re-plan the WO / SO in case of planning slippage, in order to maintain the data updated in the ERP. (However, prior, an analysis of
the earnings regarding the workload of those changings has to be done)
• WO Cockpit (weekly): Follow up with Production, investigate and process orders in GSI that are outstanding to be consumed;
Material & supplies
• Forecast material availability, report to SC Management, warehouse and procurement to ensure coverage at station;
• Ensure/review material preparation from warehouse prior of it being delivered to Production; check containers, carts, … and space
availability in the workstations to guarantee the deliveries at the right place.
• Launch material deliveries to the stations according to the need of the short term planning
• Treatment of the deliveries discrepancies
• Manage material shortages, list and share with the internal customers, provide that have progressed out of station; communicate to
the warehouse in order to deliver immediately after reception.
• Forecast material availability, report to SC Management and procurement to ensure coverage;
• Support some design or push to completion lineside delivery improvements. Specific tooling/packaging for visual management and
ease of handling by both Warehouse and production teams;
• Warehouse reintegration : Treatment of the overages on line and their back flow to warehouse with appropriate process in the ERP
MCA (delegated responsibility)
• Expedite and follow up replacement for broken parts through NCR process;
• Coordinate and follow up Repair/Rework flow;
