The Logistics Engineering Specialist is in charge of the design of physical material flows and movement for the site, to fulfill Production / Operations / Supply Chain requirements while minimizing Alstom costs & cash usage in their execution.


External Flows Management:

  • Define, optimize and validate the design of external flows between Alstom suppliers and the site.
  • Ensure the implementation and the compliancy of Alstom's Supply Chain standards to guarantee optimal logistics performance.
  • Determine purchasing part flows in order to optimize on-site management and production delivery.
  • Conduct Business Cases on projects intended to improve transport, flow optimization and storage strategies.
  • Define delivery and packaging methods that comply with ergonomic and EHS requirements.
  • Ensure that Quality, Cost and Time requirements are considered in the management of logistics operations.


Internal Flows Management:

  • Design and implement complete internal logistics flows (including internal packaging design).
  • Define the line feeding strategy and coordinate with all stakeholders.
  • Be the logistics interface for medium/long term plants development strategy.
  • Collaborate with multiple functions throughout the manufacturing process to include, test, production, logistics, warehouse and project management to meet the quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Learn and Master new technologies and techniques that shape the supply chain flows. 
  • Develop data models and new tools reporting to enhance the speed and quality of the process/flows across the logistics organization.
  • Identify, share and implement industry and internal best practices across supply chain operations.
  • Perform business case and cost impact analysis on all future initiatives.
  • Ensure the Quality animation within the Supply Chain Department to reduce number of Non-Conformity Request.
  • Support Warehouse to optimize storage strategy.
  • Support the global supply chain organization.




  • Bachelor degee :  Engineering, Supply Chain or related.


  • Knowledge or training with SAP application.




  • (3+) years of relevant experience in Transportation, Warehouse or Logistics (preferably in Industry)
  • Demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.         



  • Knowledgeable of ERP - SAP
