Objective

You are in charge of all the Logistic teams (Alstom employees and/or external provider) for your site, taking care of the design of physical flows and their execution.

 

Organization Reporting

  • Hierarchical Reporting : Supply Chain Manager

 

Role & Responsabilities

- Design Supply Chain processes vs Industrial requirements

- Define subcontractors’ requirements

- Define Vendors' requirements regarding logistics

- Define warehouse layouts, its internal flows and storage policy

- Define line feeding layout and kitting associated

- Define Rolling Stock & Construction Handling

- Plan & Manage Material Receipt and Inbound Transportation

- Plan & Manage Stock Entry

- Manage Picking and Kitting

- Manage Line Feeding

- Plan & Manage Packing, Shipping and Outbound Transportation

- Manage Inventory Accuracy & Integrity

- Identify Needs & Define Requirements for Internal Standards, Define, Improve & Validate Internal Standards, Manage Internal Standards Deployment

- Identify Needs & Define Requirements, Contribute to External Standards Definition, Improvement & Validation, Manage Impact of External Standards on Processes & Tools, Manage External Standards & Regulations Deployment

- Manage Jobs & Skills, Training & Qualification, Workforce, Staffing & organization, World Class Manufacturing network

- Collect Site Monthly KPIs, Manage Site Improvement Action Plan, Review Site Monthly KPIs

- Prepare Budget, Manage Budget construction, Release Final Budget, Review Budget

- Ensure operations are executed in an environment that complies with Alstom Health, Safety and Environmental policies

 

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain

At least 5 years of experience in logistics and in the railway industry

Fluent in English
